Our Story

Growing food for our community is our family's passion. The Hanky Frankie Farm is our labor of love and the result of our own hard work and resourcefulness. We built this farm and business entirely from the dirt up and are excited to share our bounty with you!

 

Our farming philosophy is based on permaculture practices and a no-till, natural farming, chemical-free approach. We believe in the idea that everything is connected, from the microbes in our soil, to the animals that provide pest control and fertilizer, to the food waste that transforms into compost, to the plants that grow and provide us with food, to the community we feed.

 

We are always happy to talk "dirt" and would love to share how we operate and our approach to sustainable farming with other interested folks! We hope you love eating our food as much as we love growing it.
